Last Wednesday, July 28th, I brought Princess to Animal House in Alabang for her third CBC. Her initial test last month showed her platelets to be just 30 of the normal 200 to 500. After 3 weeks of medication, we had her tested again to find out that her platelets got slightly higher but still way lower than the low normal. It was 64.     Her vet had her continue the medication for another 2 weeks. Last Wednesday was the 14th day. We were scheduled to go back Thursday but since her vet wouldn’t be in Alabang that day, she asked us to just go back Wednesday.     Sadly, the machine they’re using for blood test wasn’t functioning that day. I’m mostly a jeans person. I don’t really wear shorts when I go out. But since I plan to roam around the provinces near Manila a bit more this year, I thought about buying a pair of shorts for my trips. Honestly, I envied Gerald when we went to Pagbilao cuz he looked so comfy in his shorts. And I want to be more comfortable next time. Meet my new pair of Penshoppe shorts: Bought it yesterday. After the vet and the dentist, Princess, Angel, and I headed to the mall. And I forced Angel to treat me to a KFC lunch. LoL! It’s such a headache when PLDT’s MyDSL service is down.   First, I can’t blog. Blogging has been one of my favorite past times as of late (read: the past three years). It’s through this that I can express myself in such ways that I can’t in other medium.   Second, I can’t access my feeds and alerts. I can’t stay up-to-date on current events and on topics that interest me most.   Third, I can’t connect with my Facebook friends; can’t even tell them that I don’t have internet connection because I don’t have internet connection (redundundant?).   Fourth, and most importantly, I have lesser income. I had planned this trip for so long, but then things started happening that it got postponed for almost a month. I originally planned going to Pagbilao, Quezon June 27th, but Princess got sick and I had to bring her to the vet June 24th. Aside from the fact that my tight budget got even tighter because of the vet trip, I couldn't possibly embark even on a one-day trip because of Princess' meds. Both Nanay and Angel, the two women I live with, were both busy (and then there's also this issue of OC-ness). I moved the trip to the 4th of July, while the US was celebrating their independence.
