It's a gift from my sister. Can you tell that she's religious?
And this Kensington MicroSaver was from Danilo. Can you tell that he's techy?
Thank you. Thank you. When you get older, the gifts become scarce. LOL!
I wasn't able to watch PBB Double Up Eviction Night and StarStruck V Live last Saturday. And even if I was able to, I didn't have internet connection from 4 pm of Saturday up to very late last night, so I wouldn't be able to blog about it.
But the reason why I was so busy as of late was because of my birthday. Yeah, yesterday. I kinda celebrated last Saturday. Had lunch at my sister's, went home around 5 pm to change and meet up with Danilo at the mall. I was buying something, and Danilo being a computer engineer and all, I wanted him to inspect the item first.
I need some more sleep. I went home from Laguna yesterday morning pa but I wasn't able to sleep cuz it's my niece's birthday yesterday. She had a double celebration with my sister who had her birthday last 26th. We had a "full house" yesterday and it's quite impossible for me to rest. Speaking of birthdays, I wanna greet my friend Bans Balleras a belated happy birthday. It was her birthday last 25th.
Anyway, I woke up this morning to no internet. I picked up the phone to call PLDT 173 when I realized there was a line noise - screechy, static, annoying noise. I checked the plugs but they're properly connected. Then at the corner of my eyes, I saw some activity outside the window, at the Meralco post on the other side of the street.
Gawd, the pagecom.com.ph people were at it again. I talked to them and they ended up replacing our phone box which was 16 years old already. And they said naman they'd be on our street only until today, or tomorrow at the most. Buti naman.
This was taken before I yelled. No, I didn't show them I was angry cuz they might sabotage my connection more. LOL! I just shouted: "Kuya wala akong connection!" Then they politely answered: "Sandali na lang 'to sir." Pero I overheard him talking on the phone up there. He was talking to his wife. How did I know it was his wife? Cuz he was asking the other end if the kids had already left for school. LOL! Internet connection resumed the minute he went down his ladder.
I never got the book Twisted8 (I'm buying one on Sunday). But I received lots of hair stuff - headbands in all sorts of colors; crimpers; iron... I guess my friends and family want me to keep my hair afro. None of the headbands fitted me, though. I really have a big head.
Anyway, I still have it going with The Second One. I don't know but perhaps I can't let go. I talked with my friend Aryz last night and told him about my plans of breaking it up with The Second One. Aryz told me to take it slow. I asked, "But how?" He said, "I don't know."
I'm really not the type to take it slow. It's not in my limited vocabulary. It's either now or never. I have to say what I got to say. There's no tomorrow. Perhaps that's where I'm wrong at. Perhaps that's the cause of all my failed relationships. But that's me. I've yet to meet the person who would yell back at me when I'm mad (not just keep quiet and then decide not to talk to me forever).
But then my day turned out quite fine. I was able to patch things up; was able to finally know what the problem was. I deserve it, I guess. I deserve to be happy. It's mah burtdey, after all.
I haven't bought a copy of Zafra's latest, Twisted8. I'm actually waiting for some good soul to gift me with the book hehe. But then perhaps if I still don't have the book by the 24th of this month, I'm buying one for myself. Or should I still wait for my birthday to be over before buying? Hmm really I can't wait to get hold of the book.
