For like 3 days now, one of my client computers won't run Special Force. The launcher won't even pop up, and instead, a small notification that says "Failed to Global.cki download (IDLE)" greets me when I click the SF icon. As Google is my bestfriend, I searched the net for my little problem. I realized that I'm not the only one experiencing the error. But sadly, no specific solution to the problem has been given. I went to Siniloan, Laguna last Sunday and upon arriving at the town proper, I immediately looked for the local parish. It's one of my personal rules to first and foremost visit the local church of wherever my destination is, to give thanks for arriving there safe and to pray as well for the safety of those I left at home. Since I wasn't really prepared for a Siniloan trip (I was scheduled to go to Majayjay that day), I wasn't able to search the net for its local church beforehand. Anyway, I was sure a local or two would be willing to give me directions to their local parish if I'd kindly ask. I didn't have to ask anyone, though, because when the jeepney driver dropped me off in the intersection where I could hire a tricycle to go to my destination, it was in front of a church. I “encashed my paycheck” last Friday. All my previous paychecks had been encashed and spent on things I couldn’t even remember what anymore. I was talking to my niece before I left the house that day about what to buy,  something that could be a remembrance. I’ve been wanting to do that ever since but haven’t done it till last Friday.   I roamed around the mall, and since I couldn’t buy an iPhone with how much my paycheck was worth (LoL!), I just bought a memory card   and had an extra (and smaller) eyeglasses made.   I was so lazy to look for the digicam so I just used the Kodak ZX1 (which is great for videos but not for pics) for the above images.
