Went out tonight to buy tickets for the Pulp Summer Slam happening this Saturday, April 30, 2011. Quite excited. I'm going with my friend Bryan and my niece and her fiancé. But no, I wasn't the one who payed for all four. I'm not that kind :D I promise to be extra careful this time. I lost a cellphone at last year's Pulp and I don't wanna lose anything this year.

I was at the e-Games Domination V last April 2. I arrived at SMX around 4:00 PM while the Shure Band was performing. The band was the 2nd place winner of the battle of the bands during the R2D5 NCR leg. The event was hosted by Eri Neeman and two other girls I didn't get the names of. SMX was packed but I think there were more attendees last year. Well, correct me if I'm wrong but I could barely roam around last year. Or was it just the floor plan this year that made it seem more maluwang ? There were computers for free play but the line was oh-so-long. I just busied myself with watching Ran Online's "Flip Top" challenge in the game's booth. The last two standing battled it out on the main stage. The judge was no less than Gloc9, who confessed that he doesn't freestyle himself. He just chose the one with better construction and rhyming. I love traveling alone, even climbing mountains with just a guide, but I know there are some places I cannot go to alone for two reasons – it's so remote it's not safe to go alone; and it would cost me a fortune if I don't go with a group. Mt. Pulag in Benguet, Luzon's highest peak, is one of those places. That's why I felt so lucky when the MLQU Stallions Outdoor Club invited me to join them for their Mt. Pulag climb. It was originally planned for December 2010, but because of the cold weather, it was moved numerous times until it became February 18-20, 2011. I don't really have the gears, much more for a high-altitude climb. I have a tent, a backpack,  some dri-fits, a pair of trekking pants... but nothing to keep me from the extreme cold. I really thought Facebook videos cannot be embedded on a blog, just because they don't give the embed codes on the video page. It's the reason why I never uploaded my videos on Facebook cuz I thought I wouldn't be able to put them on my blog. So I almost always use YouTube for video uploading. That way, I can put them on my blog and my Facebook wall as well. But then I encountered a Facebook video a while ago that I wanted to embed on my blog. I searched YouTube for the said video but I couldn't find any. It's then that I thought about searching Google for embedding Facebook videos on blogs, and I almost hit myself. One of my PCs just got infected with the XP Total Security 2011 virus. It's actually a fake virus removal tool that has a similar look with Total XP Security. When I first saw it pop up, it instantly scanned my hard drive and warned me of a number of infected files. It then prompted me to delete the infected files and when I clicked "Yes" another message told me that I had to register first. At that point, I sensed something was wrong. Forgot to take a screen cap but this is what the fake anti-virus program looks like (via teesupport.com) A few minutes later, my Firefox malfunctioned and wouldn't connect to any site. A message told me the sites I was trying to access were dangerous. Gah! Since when has Google.com became dangerous? I then used another PC to Google "XP Total Security 2011" and learned about its hazards.
